HDFC Bank has rolled out new TV commercial, that aims to showcase the ‘MyFavourite’ option available across all its ATMs.
Let’s have a look on its commercial –
A man in a towing truck is lying in wait hoping to tow away an unsuspecting driver’s car. His attention suddenly goes to a car that has just been parked outside an HDFC Bank ATM. He gathers his crew and immediately gets to work in a hurry, ensuring that the car is towed away before the driver is back. However, just as he is fixing the hook on the back of the car, he is startled by the horn. He looks up to find the driver back in the car and is extremely surprised to know that he is back so soon.
Here are few points –
a) Man in towing truck looks like goon instead of law enforcement officer. Did HDFC bank thinks that all towing trucks ran by goons in India? If so, we congratulate them for this BOLD step.
b) The person who visited HDFC bank ATM parked his car in no-parking area. Is it legal to park your car in no-parking area? Is HDFC bank executives follow this everyday while visiting their bank? Even if its true to their executives, it doesn’t becomes legal.
c) Indirectly HDFC bank promoting illegal activity by telling their ATM customers not to park in parking area instead of infront of their ATM machines and they helping your illegal activity by giving you cash faster so that you can hide your crime.
Any comment from HDFC bank is welcomed here.
